Stimulant

Stimulant uses emerging technologies to transform static physical spaces into dynamic interactive environments. They craft human-scale, site-specific digital experiences that tell stories in unique ways, drive face-to-face interaction, and create lasting memories.

I was Stimulant’s Visual Design Lead and Art dDirector for 7 years. From day one, I was responsible for Stimulant’s Visual Brand and Identity. I designed Stimulant’s original logo type and later, with help from Stimulant designer, Greg Kaufman, completed a major overhaul of the entire look and feel to better fit Stimulant’s new direction of using emerging technologies to transform static physical spaces into dynamic interactive environments. Over the years I created countless brand assets from websites to business cards to letterheads to digital signage and was constantly challenged with new ways to extend the brand to fit the environment it resided in. The use of 3D geometry was a consistent theme that was applied in new and interesting ways including a blind emboss on the company’s business cards that was unique for every card. Below is a small sampling of that work.

Business Cards

The cards were printed on heavy card stock and incorporated a blind embossing of a unique 3D mesh for each card. No two cards were the same.
